Modular Bit Error Rate Tester and Extension Modules

The SHF 10000 series is a modular and scalable Test & Measurement solution for high speed electrical and optical transmission experiments for data rates up to 100 Gbps. The system can be configured to the customer's requirements and offers an outstanding signal quality combined with various advanced measurement utilities. Thanks to the flexible and future proof modular concept, the system allows easy upgrade and expansion.

A wide range of electrical and optical plug-in modules which can be installed in one of SHF’s mainframes allow to form a complete bit error rate test (BERT) system for OC-768 or multi-channel OC-192 applications. A complete system for optical signal generation and analysis can be put together using the bit pattern generator SHF 12103A and the error analyzer SHF 11104A in conjunction with our optical transmitters and receivers. A extensive range of optical modulation formats is supported.

The broadband working multiplexer and demultiplexer modules allow an easy upgrade of existing 12.5 Gbps BERT systems.
