Application area

The VME32bin is a VME assembly which is specially suited for reading fast binary process signals in the range of 4ms (five inputs can be switched to 500µs). Direct access of the VME bus ensures practically delay-free control of the actuators. The card contains 32 binary inputs with voltage spacing (24...60 V/3 mA). The connection of the process signal is made by a 48 pole front plug. The inputs can provide interrupts at the VME and enable indicators and simulation possibilities with pegs in the front panel.

Operating conditions

The assembly is designed for operating temperatures between 0...55°C with humidity class F. The standards (pr) EN50081-2 (radiation emission), (pr) EN50082-2 (radiation immunity) and IEC 801-2 are met according to the EMC regulations (89/336/EWG).
