SHF 1003 DPSKNews New optical transmitter for producing signals in different formats up to 12.5Gbps. The SHF 1003 DPSK is a similar instrument to the well-established SHF 5003 DPSK, but it is intended for use at lower bit rates. It can convert electrical signals into optical signals in both ASK (also known as OOK) and DPSK formats. In both cases, NRZ and RZ signals can be produced, as well as carrier supressed RZ signals.An automatic bias control circuit tunes the instrument to its optimum position (this can also be set manually) and maintains stable operation.
